Chapter Two: The Journey

Liza shuffled across Temple of Zios. She kept on thinking, What have I gotten myself into? Suddenly, a huge tiger burst out of the bushes and snarled at her. Liza stepped back, alarmed. No animal had ever confronted her like this. Then the tiger clamped his mouth shut and bowed. "Liza, I am so very sorry. I didn't know it was you. Oh, I am so ashamed." Liza felt sympathy for the giant tiger. "It is alright but if you would have done that to Greely, he would have shaved your fur off and left you furless." The tigers eyes stretched wide. "I've got to be more careful." He growled to himself. He stepped to the side. "You may go, Liza. I'm very sorry." Liza nodded to the tiger and walked by. She turned to look around but the tiger had vanished. Liza shrugged and kept walking along, entering Sarepiea Forest. Liza suddenly heard viscous growls and snarls. There were coming by the eternal flame. Liza stepped into the open and saw two wolves clawing and biting at eachother. Liza immedietly took her cane and pushed the two wolves apart. They kept on snarling until Liza yelled. They shut their mouthes and bowed their heads. "We are very sorry, Liza." A male gray wolf said. "HE  was trying to steal the deer I caught. I'm sorry." Liza nodded and turned to the other wolf. "Well?" she said. The wolf looked at his paws and muttered, "I'm sorry." The two wolves backed away from eachother. "Again. I'm really sorry Liza. I don't know what got into me. I guess it was just............ instinct. I didn't mean to attack him. When Liza turned to speak to the thieving wolf, he had vanished. Liza sighed. The gray wolf dipped his head and went to get his deer." Liza waved goodbye to the wolf and went to walking again. Now she was really going on her journey. A journey far away from Jamaa. A journey to where no other animal has been before.
